I was interested to know more about it as I heard how americans are saying it and apparently there are several ways you can say it, did you also know that?

2 of the most common ones are forhed or forrid, where you pronounce the h very soft.

The way I like to say it is fore head with fore first then with a slight pause then following with a hard h in head.

How about you, how do you prefer to pronounce it?

When I was a child we said Forrid, but that is just regional accent, we knew it was the front of our head. When I moved here i took on board the pronunciation as FORE HEAD.

Depends who were speaking too.

Locals - "Forr-ed" (we don't always pronounce our H's here) plus we can speak faster with those who know the accent.

Other people - forehead
