Well you must plough your own furrow my friend. One person sees a philosopher another see a wise sage offering wisdom. Each to their own. because in the end it's only you who can say who you are, no one else. It's like sometimes you just have to live and let live.

You know?

I agree with you here and I am probably guilty of occasionally asking what may be deemed philosophical questions. Not done intentionally as such, just sometimes things come into my mind and I fancy sharing them with people.

Sorry. Invictus is unavailable for Forum Wisdom today. Instead he can offer these random words of wisdom from his book, 'Invictus; Wisdom for Swingers';

If the chain is still swinging, then the seat is still warm.

Damn! And I've just bought the 14 volume set entitled "Swinging and Philosophy- Time for a Discussion" by H. Ardon. Oh well - looks good on me shelves....

Now to be philoso..... er, serious for a mo.... There is so much 'stuff' (for want of a better word) in the Forums of all levels of reading, substance, intellect etc that you will get some quite philosophical discussions on the go. The degree to which those discussions go into the realms of philosophy depends on the contributors to the thread, does it not....???

Now, if that ain't a philosophical _iewpoint, I'll eat me butt plug!!!

You cant really chuckle at people who do this, until you have reflected on what its like to be them ,walked in there shoes.Remember philosophy is very much in the eye of the beholder.
