The 6 inch square drains usually found outside a kitchen. Other drains were ok,just those ones. I'm still wary of them.

I definitely remember early 80’s there being a lot of talk about potential nuclear war with Russia. My friends brother had a really loud stereo in his car, boot open, dropped the 12” version of Two Tribes on at full rip on the driveway- which starts with an air raid siren going off. I genuinely thought that was it for several seconds until we both realised what it was.

At least the threat of global destruction from some lunatic in Russia is a distant past eh?

Heights ……. Which is ironic, because I was still a kid when I started climbing in an effort to get over that fear…….. went from one extreme to another and ended up climbing anything that took my fancy…… walls….. trees….. buildings…… cliffs and rock faces
