Just a quick question…….

If you pop up a status update do you mind getting messages about it or is it as bad as an unsolicited cock pic….

Depends if it is asking for a reply. Either way I'm not too fussed

I don't mind but I always feel a little mean deleting it after.

I don't mind, but it depends on the message - if it's your first thought, don't, because I've probably had a dozen of them already. (in the world where I get messages, which I don't)

The update or the message?

I don't mind getting messages about it. Whether I open the message and reply is another matter entirely.

Depends who the message is from.

I rarely post statuses, so if I do I'm likely attention seeking. If my message filters are open I'm definitely attention seeking.

But everyone operates the site and it's functions in their own way.

If it's actually relevant to the status I have no issue with it. If its someone trying to use it as a "way in" then I ignore it.

Often I post events in attending on my status. Sometimes people message to say their attending too

It's just nice to get a message now and then

Do you post them expecting reply’s or is it just a thought you need to share? To all….

I get at least 20 off an update, I set song lyrics most days and people message with the answer. I don't mind at all.

Bit of both

Sometimes it’s a little cringey…I think it depends on the update.

Someone wrote a mills and boon type response on what they wanted to do to C’s breasts after our last update.

Was

What do you say to that??

The reason i would normally put a status update is i would normally be looking for a meet or something in particular.

So i would expect messages but would hope they had read my profile before messaging.

Only time it would annoy me is if it says not meeting or looking for anyone.

Yes sometimes I do on my single profile.

If it's from the same people who wait and then send a message constantly when I've put an update on.

I often put a quote I like or a song lyric.I don't feel everything needs a comment ,unless I'm asking for one.

I recently put a status about a rugby match I was watching & this bloke put he was watching too & attached 6 cock pics in!!no need,I'd have happily chatted about the game.

So I guess it depends on the nature of the reply to it and if it's one of those pests who pounce on an update.

Miss

Thanks for the responses fabbers, it’s just that I do this but sometimes feel they think I might be hitting on them and don’t want this to be the case….

I think a status update is a good thing to message about, I've messaged people I've never spoken to about their status

Just around the corner

I’ve probably met more people after messages about their status than through ‘cold calling’.

Your current status is very thoughtful. RIP Sinead xx
