Morden

IMDB (the font of all knowledge about films) lists the top ten films as:

1. The Shawshank Redemption

2. The Godfather

3. The Dark Knight

4. The Godfather Part II

5. 12 Angry Men

6. Schindler's List

7. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

8. Pulp Fiction

9. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

10. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Which film, in your opinion, is missing from the list?

For me, I think it's "2001: A Space Odyssey". If nothing else, for the filmmaking and cinematography. Given the state of special effects at the time, I think it's up there with what CGI can do now.

For it's effect on myself and friends, the first Star Wars film. A game changer.
