People bashing…

Not literally…

I am starting to find the internet and social side a depressing place to be.

To many people are interested in leaving negative responses.

If you were to have a bad meal out would you complain to the management staff and give them a chance to address it or offer it to you for free or would you go straight to the internet and leave a negative response.

How many negative responses against businesses are actually verified and checked rather than just published, they could be from opposing businesses.

I am guilty of looking at a review of a place or a business before I may go and use them.

Does anybody actually use the internet for leaving positive feedback.

Same with people in social media, isn’t it easier to move along and concentrate on your lives without feeling the need to waste the energy berating others for their choices that don’t actually affect you. I actually find it says more about the person typing it than the person it’s about, it’s easy to pick faults in people but are we hiding the faults in ourselves by saying look at them and not me

How do we actually stop the keyboard warriors, or can’t we?

It’s been a long week already and I’m just thinking of things that wind me up!!

Step back from social media as much as you can.

You can't stop them.

Best thing to do, is to learn not to let it bother you. And trust and follow your own judgements and be the positive voice you want to be.

Certainly can be and I'll include FAB in that too. I joke with a friend that I start each day happy and then proceed to get annoyed when I start browsing.

If you can be aware of the impact it's having then just be mindful of that.

Simply do you Op, anything outside of that your powerless over. So why give anything your powerless over the power. You can't change others on social media, so change the only thing that you can your involvement in it.

In “old school terms” a lot of stuff that goes on is bullying.

My thoughts are if I won’t say it to someone’s face then I won’t type it

I am much more likely to leave a positive review especially of small family run businesses.

All over

I wouldn't leave reviews but do challenge bad service these days as it's getting worse in this country. I will usually ask to see the right person and share my concerns. If they respond positively rather than be defensive, that's all good and have no issus giving them my business again. I personally don't understand people who constantly take to social

media for that sort of stuff. Must have too much time in their hands or whatever reason, just not for me.

Internet is full of negative energy my moto is be kind be postive be happy and go with gut feelings. Life is too short...

I am one to moan about my service, my food not being cooked properly head on. So they can rectify the issue and no one else gets the poor service or undercooked food. I only speak my mind when necessary. Sometimes I cannot be bothered to say it how it is.

We don't know each other we dont know how mental health can affect anyone.

Have a healthy mind always be kind.

Some people seem to think they're playing Top Trumps: Arsehole Edition.

Even the most innocuous of questions is met with sarky responses or people talking down to you. And they're completely oblivious that they're showing themselves up.

Cannot be arsed with them.

The internet is quasi anonymous, you'd wonder what it would be like if it wasn't private. But yeah, group think and dogpiling is how it's done.

My recent favourite was Shogun and I being accused of ganging up on someone because we disagreed with their opinion. Apparently once you're in a relationship you have to share a brain and speak with only one voice

I leave both positive and negative reviews. I'd want to know if someone had an unusually good or bad experience at a place where I'm thinking about spending my money.

I don't really leave reviews, unless someone asks me for it (in which case they've probably done a good job and the review is positive). Also not on social media (does this count, lol) so not exposed to it myself.

You cannot control anyone else only yourself.

I like to think I'm a positive person and I certainly don't berate others for their choices, as long as it doesn't impact me then it's none of my business.

I do feel sad the way it's gone with social media but if you broadcast your choices, life etc people will always pass judgement on it especially on a public platform.

I don't think I've ever complained about a company etc on social media , I would always go to them with an issue if I had one.

Am not personally on any social media as l absolutely hate everything that it can be to people, the vile hate that a person can say about anything they want to and the negative effect it can have on the people involved. I detest social media for the opportunity it gives people to cut others to pieces .

To be fair, people do leave positive feedback. I travel often and I do check reviews of hotels before booking and they are usually spot on. You just need to check the numbers. If a hotel has mostly positive reviews and one negative review, I will ignore the negative review. But if there are plenty of negative reviews, then I would probably skip.
