Ok so all the time we see rants and comments about blokes having cock pics on their profile but what baout the reverse !!

Cant speak for every guy on here but ....

I have to say if i look at a profile and see a lady spreading her legs and holding her lips wide open or a close up shot of her insides so you can see what she had for breakfast that really puts me off !!

I really do not think that a picture of someone naked and then seeing them in the flesh is comparable. To me it is always a surprise.

I never meet a guy and whilst undressing him think 'well I know exactly what this is going to be like as I've seen pictures of it'. That would be like saying there is no point going anywhere on holiday as you've seen pictures in a brochure.

Actually that sums it up nicely, too. I rather see a general idea of the body shape and a smile; but also you made a very valid point about liking pics not too dissimilar to the ones you have yourself. I guess people post profile pics they like so possibly would be looking for similar pics in profiles of potential meets.
