Is it acceptable to say - Im going now .. bit bored to be honest. Or is ‘you arrogant wanker - i hope you meet someone just like you!’ Better?

Anyone have any suggestions?

On tander yesterday I ended with... "I'll let you be your clearly in a bad mood" and deleted her a few minutes later.

In all honesty deleting was a cowardly mood but I had things to do instead of arguing

If you think it's acceptable then what does it really matter?

Seems a lot of that about at the moment… people sometimes don’t read between the lines ir sometimes just miss the humour.. not everyone gets it and they assume you’re being serious… mystifying sometimes.

I usually say, I can see we don't really connect and I don't want to waste your time. It was a nice chat, good luck

I don't have texting sessions? I text a message when i have time, if it's a little back and forth, then so be it, but I don't ever "end" anything.

If I don't like what she said, I won't reply and delete the number. If I get annoyed by message after message, I just block. This is very rare, as I am a guy, but still happened.

Never did I say "I am going now".

Yes, well I do find sarcasm gets lost in text. Though in this case she was been rather rude and if we were face to face she'd have got told straight. I'm actually far too polite over text

Honestly? A message is only rude if you perceive it that way. If you let it be rude. I often find myself just accepting peoples bullshit, make jokes about it and laugh it off. Often softens the mood and they later apologise for having been rude. It's called framing.

None of the above is acceptable. To end a message can be anything meaning I don't think we quite connect but I wish you a fun and safe time here

Respect and manners cost nothing really

In seriousness - if i think i have no connection or i don’t like something in their profile or the message - first message i’ll ignore - if we’ve been chatting - i’ll say - have to nip off - catch up later and probably not catch up. …

Then why not just say sorry I don't feel a connection here ?

Because i did that once before and was called shallow, and some less flattering names because some people can’t believe they’re not irresistible and don’t take rejection well.

On here if I am saying no I end my message with happy swingeing if they don’t get the hint that conversation is over it’s a block

Just be polite and say:

"After careful consideration it is with deep regret that I will not be pursuing this opportunity any further. Although your profile and photos were exemplary I find that your competencies in chat and messaging fell below expectations and the level that I was looking for.

I wish you much success for the future, happy fab'ing.".

Always close off with the "happy fab'ing". I'm not sure why but that remark seems to be in fashion at the moment.

I just say we’re not compatible and I say why. Just be honest. I told someone recently I won’t meet her again because she struggles with eye contact and she’s not tactile.

Why say sorry ? Just say you don’t feel a connection. Saying sorry gives false hope

My messages are always open ended. Maybe the conversation will start up again.

I’ve never had to END a texting conversation.

Maybe, ‘hope to talk again soon’ if I think it’s not going anywhere..I dunno really.

.

If you're that bored and you really don't want to talk to the person again, why not say something polite like "I don't think we're that compatible, happy fabbing ." Or let it fizzle. Most people will pick up on the fizzle. It's a great and easy way to go about it.

Ive said, have a fab day!

Fizzle is always safe. It leaves it open to chat again.
