When you need a break where’s your go to place, or go to food?

For me it’s a beach by the sea, I feel the stresses of life lifting off me. Especially in winter when it’s at its toughest

Food wise. Cake. Always cake. A Victoria sponge

The sea - it makes all my worries insignificant (not less worthy of a worry, but the sea has such a huge force field it's like nothing else matters).

Food - I do love Victoria sponge.

This, the sea, but only in bad weather. I could stay there forever.

Stockport

Once upon a time it was a hillside with fabulous views, with good bread, cheese and beer. These days I usually end up on the sofa in my library room, with chocolate and a book.

The bath, lock myself in for a couple of hours with some candles and relax in solitude
