What do you use to stay organised?

Are you an organised sort?

Are you a planner sort of person? Prefer an online calendar? Do you get excited about buying and using new stationery?

I'm currently filling in a new planner and wondering - do I have the energy to also put it in the virtual calendar? It's a lot of energy.

Always have a physical diary on my desk do use the one on my phone too but prefer an actual diary

At work I used to be supremely organised. My private life never has been. Fortunately Mr N is an excellent organiser and has made sure over the years that my important documents etc are safely stored, he has no influence over my craft supplies, clothes and shoes though

Oh I love stationery!!! I buy lots for my job, even though I could get it for free, I like the pretty stuff.

In work life I'm totally organised, but my personal life is a chaotic wreck.

Yes I get this, it doesn't feel as real unless I've written it down physically. I also find it easier to follow when it's in my illegible scrawl.

I wing most things in my life. Except eyeliner. I've never managed that!

I plan some things because I love having things to look forward to.

I use my calendar in my phone to set reminders as I do forget stuff sometimes.

Obviously I'm very organised at work but that's because I have to be.

I like to think I'm organised and in my office job I most definitely am.

Everything else in life?... I want to say yes, I write stuff in my calendar, I organise our social life and our Fab stuff, but am I organised when it comes around to it?... sometimes I am extremely organised and other times I end up rushing around last minute deciding what to wear, picking up last minute cash, often don't wear jewellery as can't find what I want last minute.

Oh to be honest, I think it absolutely depends on how busy I am. If I have the time then yes I'm organised.

Is Mr organised?...never, he would be lost without me.

Oh he's yinning your yang! That's really lovely. Yes, I'm the document/dates person in my household. You need that balance sometimes. Craft supplies should never be organised properly, let the chaos spark the creativity.

The accommodation is booked though which is far more organised than usual

I have 11 electronic calendars for different focuses of my life, some of which are shared.

I'm far better at remembering stuff if I've written it down on paper (even if I never look at the paper again) - I don't seem to have this same skill with electronic documents and calendars. They're a must though these days, working virtually from anywhere.

I try to organised, really try. I'd love to be like that but I just can't manage it! Pretty much everything is done last minute as that's how it's always been in my life. Hades though, with his infinite patience is gradually 'training' me to have a little more organisation in my life. Just little things like marking appointments on the calendar as soon as they're made (conquered this one) or attempting to plan a weekend in advance (not doing so well on that one)

I kinda like my disorganised ways though

I use a calendar in the kitchen to track my son and my work hours/shifts and when our beautiful doggy day care lady comes in so I know what to pay her

seems to work having appointments etc all on it so we all know what we’re doing and when

I love stationery too! I have lots of work stuff but I like buying pretty stuff as you said. Paperchase closing down was such a shame! Love TK Maxx for the bargains to be found.

Oh I love the rambling!

You have to be organised to a certain extent - you have a very busy life - I admire how you juggle everything.

When it gets close to it I can understand the last minute decision making. I rush around a lot. Like I'll plan the outline, end up doing a headless chicken impression the hour before. :D

I love stationery. I have my eyes on son pens and highlighters.. I might grab them if they're in the shop next time I go

I use my diary quite a bit. I write all my husbands shifts down and plan childcare around this in advance. I thrive on planning, routine and knowing.

I am very disorganised- have always been. But I have an excellent memory and I am always present where and when I have to be. Don’t need diaries for that.

But as far as things go… our house is a disaster. I booked 2 people tomorrow to come and help organise appartently and I am dreading it and feel a bit sick at the thought

I don’t know where they are going to putthings as there is no space and right now I reallyhave no money to buy anyore storage units (not that there is space to out them in anyway) I tried clearing my closet but couldn’t part with anything really

I am very organised and tidy at work. I have a list in word of everything I'm working on with deadlines, which I update several times a day. I use it to prioritise what I have to do and when. If it's not on the list, I will forget all about it because I have a memory like a sieve.

At home, the only list I make is a shopping list that's on a small whiteboard in the kitchen. I take a pic of it before I go shopping. Other than that, I am a disorganised mess at home.

For the main part I’m organised, I like to be in control of things, but I don’t like to plan. So I’ll use my phone to keep track of appointments. My brain doesn’t have space for that sort of thing anymore. Though that’s as far as I go. I’m not checking timetables, making lists, packing cases. That sort of organised stresses me out
