I’m sorry but I have to disagree with the negative remarks….I fucking adore the chain and all the food it offers….but each to their own!!

For me I would have to say a fish and chips has lost quality….the portions aren’t what they used to be and the price you pay beggars belief….I’ve decided to boycott a chippie for years!!

I haven’t been to a Kentucky / KFC for over 15 years the 2-3 I went to in North London in the past you could count the chip / fries the portions were so small.The chicken shops I go to now are more generous with their portions and possibly cheaper as you are not paying for the name / brand

I used to have chickens and ducks in France and after seeing how they treat their chickens it’s heartbreaking .. same for caged hens eggs would never buy .

Also i remember a few years ago front page news in bmth echo about someone finding a weird thing in their KFC .. enough said

I used to have a KFC regularly when I was a lot younger and enjoyed them to.

I hadn't had one in years when last year a colleague suggested I had one. I ordered it but it was the worse thing I'd ever eaten, bloody horrible it was.

In fact I didn't actually eat it, I threw it in the bin.

I avoid them now.

My brother has a gluten intolerance so can't eat it but he found a recipe online (There are several, mostly no good ) which he tried using gluten free flour and it is as close to the real thing as I have ever tasted. I actually prefer it because KFC has become so inconsistent these days and usually very greasy
