I have been content to let myself do very little this week, which has been just what I needed.

I’ve been for a walk in the woods with the dog, got the gym, had breakfast and now going for a 9 minute holiday (sunbed).

That’s about as much as I’d like to do today and it feels fabulous.

I've been up nearly 4 hours.

What have I done?

Drank a lot of coffee.

Ate a lot of crap.

A bit of housework.

Some procrastination.

Ok, a lot of procrastination.

I'm ready for some time off from life now.

I think I had a self love Friday. I avoided work, I cooked, I spent time with my dog out in the sunshine, I made plans and generally just did my own thing.

It was what I needed.

It's been a really good week. I've not faffed away the time with fapping. I'm going to have a self love weekend. Not in a fapping way, more a gentle self care weekend. What do I feel good about doing? Giving blood. Saying yes to a video call. Simple things I guess.

West Mids

First weekend off in nearly 6 months, been doing 80, 90hr weeks and it doesn't feel right at all! Very odd feeling and not sure I like it!

For once I slept very well and soundly, waking up at 5am to a painful morning glory . My thanks to Fluffy Chicken for keeping me amused and distracted until the pain departed and my sleep returned.

I woke up late, had a lie in and then, being formulaic as ever, enjoyed my morning Cafetière and warm croissants with plum compote.

Does this qualify as "self love"?
