North East Scotland, mostly

No, not your willies, put 'em away lads.

Apropos of another thread today, how long have you gone between chatting with someone and meeting them IRL? Do you have a pattern? Is moving quickly/slowly important to you? What about the time between a social and a sexytimes meet?

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

From first message to first meet... 5 years. That's not an average. That was a one off.

Was it worth the wait? What's average for you? X

Generally I won’t wait longer than maybe a month or two. But if they’re far away then of course that’s different. It was years before I met one friend on here socially. One person ended up as one of my partners for a while and I didn’t meet her for like 5 months.

Average depends. I don't tend these days to talk to or meet anyone within about 150 miles. So it takes a while.

But if it's worth the conversation, it's worth the wait.

?

When I was meeting others, I always knew quickly whether I liked someone enough to meet them or not, and used to tell them and suggest a meet as soon as that happened. Mainly because I'm impatient/hedonistic/easily bored, but also because I wanted to play with their willy for a while, not marry them!

The time taken to actually meet varied with different people due to availability, distance etc, but generally sooner rather than later.

That was super fast. Out of the ordinary fast. On average. Month to a couple.

Ive been talking to people on here for centuries, that I still haven't but would like to meet. So no upper time limit for me really. When I was doing meets more just for sex it would still be a couple of months.

As a general rule of thumb, no longer than a few weeks

I'm not chatting to folks who are a distance away though

I don’t have a time scale as per say really just depends on how far away they are

If they close could be 5 minutes if they 100s off miles away and I feel they worth it could be weeks or months depending on when both off us have free time hotels and stuff booked

Even if it’s just a social evening or even just a social coffee I am happy to travel those miles as the way my dynamic is it’s never a waste trip

As if they just want a social to see we can take things further next time then all good

After the social over and back at hotel

I can just fly a meet now flag and sample some off the local guys so no trips a wasted trip so to speak

I'm a bit of a slow burner... meeting people socially as friends? Fantastic. If there's a spark and I find myself growing attracted to them over time, normally a few months?

From a social to a dalliance? It could be a few weeks. Very rarely it's the same night, not done that in a couple of months. Generally it's a month or so. It really depends on schedules aligning, how much of a desire I have to be intimate with them. You get the idea.

I'm like a stick of Incense whose slow burning embers represent me getting to know someone. But occasionally things do move quickly.

The longest? About ten months before we consummated. Typically it is a month or two or three.

I really need to up my ante; I'm not getting any younger.

I generally decide pretty quickly that I want to meet someone. That chemistry shows up or it doesn’t.

But then reality kicks in and it could be months before the timing works out and our schedules (and geography) line up.

I’m okay with this. The slow burn works.

Difficult as I've only had a few Meets from here.. 1 was same day for the 1st Social Meet, another a Couple of Weeks and another I've been talking to Her for a while but not met yet.

It takes as long as it takes .. as long as the Match works and you're happy!

Too long and I get bored, there's only so much small talk I can take, it's very rare that the small talk doesn't put me off.

I generally prefer a social quickly to guage how we get along, I'm not one for online chat it can be so different in person

I suppose it depends on logistics, free time and how much I want to meet them.

Life is busy so sometimes it could be a few weeks or a few months.

Only once I've done the same day thing. I landed really lucky but wouldn't do it again.

We like to feel comfortable so for a private social/meet needs to be arranged but if it's in a club, if everyone is happy it's straight into playing!

We're not too bothered either way. But one couple got shirty with us because after a nice social, we hadn't gone further within the month. Life had got in the way...
