Fry Bantos tinned pies.. yuk, what the crap are those?

Sandwich filling spreads in those small glass jars that look like pate...vile.

I'm going to admit to quite liking chicken paste with, rather expensive, salad cream

I didn't like any food growing up. My home food was bland and claggy and I was forced to eat it.

A couple of years ago I had

Boiled bacon and cabbage for the first time since childhood and it was amazing. Took me nearly 4 decades to discover how something was supposed to taste.

Depends on which ones. Those that are like french toast are great and enjoy them often. I also like the crisproll ones, great with some cheese etc. Even a biscotti really is like a sweet rusk

I don't put sugar on any cereals except shredded wheat and Weetabix. Smother them in canderel.

I'd rather have a banana on Weetabix now. I think sweetener tastes horrible.

"Anything pork "

I hated pork when I was younger (mainly because my mother was probably the UK's worst cook) but absolutely love it now (now it's cooked properly and not like chewing the bottom of a sandal )

I love the chicken paste in the jars too. Tried to introduce Mrs to them a few weeks back, she wasn't impressed

Stockport

Walls sausages, just tubes of fat and gristle. What was my mum thinking? She was thinking about how to feed a family on a pittance I know that now. I still eat sausages but they're the 'good' ones.
