As others have said, it depends on the tea.

If it's a black tea, I'll have a splash of milk as I like it to be a similar colour and strength to that of "builder's tea".

If it's herbal tea, then that's no milk for me.

Oh, and I like to be a rebel by putting the milk in first...

I have oat milk in mine, its really creamy."

I had to drop the milk before alternative milks were widely available so got used to no milk and now prefer it. I drink mainly green tea nowadays though.
