Reminds me of the door bell at work I work in a big supermarket and before opening at 6 we have a side door to ring on! My sister starts after me can allways tell her ring its very aggressive ring ! I'm usually correct! X

There's definitely an optimum door bell ringing time. 2 seconds seems right. Anymore than that and it feels rude!

My son does, that's how I know to answer the door. I don't usually answer to anyone else unless I'm expecting them, and other people have keys.
