Since when did a week off work become harder than a week at work

Painting fences, chopping wood for the log fire, hedge cutting

In reality how do you spend a week off rather than how would you rather spend one?

Mine will be quite similar. Got at least two days of just doing jobs that need to be done.

Hopefully that’ll give me the rest of the week to do absolutely nothing!

East London

I used to get 6 weeks off and spend most of it with my grandchildren.

Weekends were busier than weekdays and I used to look forward to going back to work on the Monday.

When I’m off work I sleep in, Lounge around and spend time with my gf and daughter on days out.

I had a week off recently and spent it all fitting new window sills. That’s my only break until construction shuts down for Christmas.

It was nice not waking up to my alarm though.

When I have days off I will dedicate a couple of days to doing chores then relax the other days. If not everything gets done oh well.
