I say yes, I don't support any charities. Charity starts at home and we have to look after ourselves first before we can look after any one or anything else.

Most charities take a person's money and do what with it realistically speaking?

We wouldn't know for sure

You don't have to give. But you don't have to be rude in saying no.

Manners don't cost anything. Sometimes you should put yourself in the other person's shoes. They probably don't want to be knocking on your door either, but need the money.

At least they are doing something, not sitting on their arse and claiming benefits.
