"Video on news of the Stop the Oil protestor who Johnny Bairstow carried off the cricket pitch being punched and kicked during a protest. Have drivers had enough. It's all over the news. What's going on here guys" *************************************** It was inevitable these imbecile "protestors" would eventually be subject to violence. Maybe, they're happy now....?!

"I read that the protestor caused a car crash and the driver attacked them. I’ve seen the video but it doesn’t show what happened beforehand. I agree with JSO’s cause but IF their actions have caused an accident then it’s hard to feel sorry for the “victim” of the attack." I will add that the kick to the head was a step too far.

" Any kind of violence is going too far - but it does seem people are exasperated by them now. They should protest in Whitehall instead of blocking the road for normal people trying to get about their lives. x J" I think the worst thing is that the regular person they're disrupting aren't the main culprits for causing climate change. They have a right to protest, but they're targeting the wrong people

"How are these protetests inconvenient for governments?" All disruption, especially if it causes civil unrest and if it causes the police to have to come out and deal with it is inconvenient to the PM.

"When the Chief of Police directs his men to observe and do nothing then honest citizens will assume their role.. " Glad you’re just some guy on the internet and not anyone with any power to prevent people exercising their right to protest.

"As millions around the world this week suffer the extreme deadly effects of climate catastrophe, it's obvious that we aren't doing enough to prevent and stop the horrors of what our leaders are responsible for. The likes of Johnson and Truss walk away with £millions, their party funded by emitters given approval for more catastrophes to be caused. Has your conscience been bought by the people destroying life as we know it?" I agree, it’s a disaster. It was only 20 degrees here. That’s diabolical for mid july.
