I love having sex for more than 5 minuets but to do this I have to stop myself finishing. I'm happy to have sex and not climax but some girls get annoyed. Anyone else happy to go at it but not finish. Its normally 30% chance I'll finish but I find it difficult to explaine to a girl I'm still satisfied. Is this common or not?

To be honest if a guy doesn’t finsh at least ones I feel like I didn’t do a good job or I wasn’t good in the sack or my bj wasn’t up to par or what ever

to be 100% truthfully I don’t mind if a guy pop within 5 minutes that’s what rounds were invented for there no shame in going rounds 2-3-4-5-6 and so on

Even if the guy pops first round and then stops himself the second round that’s ok

At least I feel I have satisfied him ones but not poping at all makes me feel that I couldn’t get the job done

Would probably put me off a return meet as well

For felling like I couldn’t get the job done and was a crap ride but I offering up the goods to he’s going to take it no matter if I was or not

I’ve only never not climaxed a couple of times. I blame them. ….

I just didn’t need to, my mood wasn’t looking for my orgasm right then, and I hope they took their enjoyment for what it was. A sexy time.

I can’t imagine not climaxing! Maybe I’m easily pleased but I can’t say there’s been a time I’ve not climaxed. If I feel I’m getting too excited and might finish quicker than I’d like then I slow it down a bit and hold back, but I always finish.

I actually went through a stage in my life where I was rarely climaxing . I don’t know if it’s down to what you have going on in your life or your diet or lifestyle I’m not sure but I wouldn’t ever say it was any of my sexual partners fault I think it was down to me but now I’m all good again

Communication! Can you only cum once ? Explain that you always cum quick so have to keep stopping and starting (if that's what they want). 5 mins of time isn't that short for PIV , plenty of other stuff to do !

It is slightly weird that the narrative around guys is that if they don't climax they didn't enjoy it, or it could have been better.

Some of my best sexual memories don't include a climax at all.

But then I guess it goea back to echoing what others have said, it needs to be communicated

While orgasms aren't the be all and end all of great sex...

I think you'll find most women would rather you didn't "stop" yourself so you can last longer than five minutes.

I don't think there's anything wrong at all with coming when you want/need to. If you're holding back, the reality is as much as you think you're doing it to prolong the woman's pleasure, she's probably not really enjoying it as much as if you didn't.

I can tell when someone does. Usually.

I don’t finish often or easily because of my anxiety medication. I explain this beforehand but similarly I think lots of women don’t feel like they’ve satisfied me. Gets a bit exhausting reassuring them.
