This evening I went to The Royal Opera House to watch The Marriage of Figaro.

What not-everyday cultural activity have you partaken in recently or would like to?

Achingly middle class. Had dinner there too, dessert in the interval. Discussed intersectionality and self-congratulated myself on my altruism this week.

Nah, I jest…it was magical.

There's some cute women working there actually, so maybe one day.

Last opera I saw was Carmen, and that was a while ago.

Pimms on the lawn after speech day at my youngest lad's school. Fairly cultured experience and great for people watching.

Each year though I get an invite to attend the parliament lunch with my old school... and just for the experience, that and the subsidised speakers whiskey, wouldn't mind attending one year.

I went to Henley regatta as a teen with the requisite bottle of Pimms. Had no idea you needed a mixer and drank it from the bottle neat. Was very ill have never had it since!
