Hi, does anyone know anywhere really cheap where I can go next week and spend the week dressed up with like minded people? Kids are away so can try and have time to myself.

East Sussex

It's the start of the school holidays so I doubt there will be anywhere cheap.

Where are you located?

Eureka in Kent has cabins you can rent. It's mainly a naturist venue though

Nowhere is going to be really cheap unfortunately. Blackpool may suit you, Club Play is very inclusive.

Not a thing for next week, but google Saint Audrie's Bay and crossdressing. There is a seaside caravan park that twice a year hosts a week long get together of tv/ts folks. I've never been to it, but have heard that it's very good. Perhaps you could plan for this, I believe it takes place in September and May.

What I have done myself is tour the north of Scotland several times, nothing specific planned just driving and ringing ahead each day to book a hotel room or b&b, traveling and living as Polly. I've never had any problems whether wandering around the middle of Glasgow, or eating in the pubs of the furthest northern villages. Scotland has always seemed to me to be extremely welcoming to everyone no matter how they look or where they are from; the Scottish people see you as friends of their country.

Unfortunately not always the case in England. Not that I've had any really terrible experiences, but I do feel that out of everywhere I've visited in the UK, it is in English cities where I've been most likely to be accosted in the street by some pissed up transphobic twat...

Is that the Royal Tunbridge Wells? (dunno if there's a non-royal tunbridge wells anywhere). Sounds like it might be well posh, I'll have to get me a new frock and shoes, with a big hat like going to the horse racing. If it ever stops raining in this country I might just take you up on the offer
