Where do they go?

Firstly, I'm not 'bothered' as such. More just curious.

So, inbox messages. Where do they go? A few days ago I had like over 500 unread messages (not a lowkey brag, I'm just saying). And then I logged in a couple of days ago and I had about 250 unread messages. Then today I've logged in and only have 90! Wtf is going on?

Does this happen to anyone else? I know I haven't read them. Jesus the thought of reading 400+ messages that just say 'hi' or 'I'm going to destroy you' isn't my idea of fun. So anyone, where do they go?

I think it's about 3 weeks or thereabouts, I'm not sure of the exact time, but after that unread messages get removed from the server and sent to bots on KIK to use, if KIK is still a thing as I'm typing this, haven't researched.

If you don’t open them they expire and are automatically deleted after a few weeks

Atuo deleted if a message is left un opened after so long the server will atuo delete or atuo clean its self as that message is take up server space

The general consensus is if it was going to get read it would have been read by that time

Ok that makes sense. Thanks guys. Like I said I wasn't bothered, I just noticed because it was such a big drop. I was uploading a few new pics about a month ago and was bombarded by message. That's probably why it dropped so suddenly as the messages all came over the space of a couple of days.

I think unlos messages go immediately too. I've seen messages disappear from the top of my inbox.

Or maybe I got blocked for being tardy.

They get deleted

They get recycled in the copy/paste facility and resent to someone else.
