Whilst I was in hospital I was dosed up on some fairly heavy duty morphine. Morphine makes me hallucinate but it also makes me slack tongued... Case in point the following conversation with an on call gynae:

Dr: When was the last time you had sex?

Me: Thursday (giggles) it was good!

Dr: Was it with your partner?

Me: (snorts with derision) Partner, I don't need a partner.... It was with a man though (more giggles)

Dr: Was it safe sex?

Me: Yes, but I did get a baby oil related injury and I evicted him a few times... (pauses for thought) I did suck a few cocks on Saturday though.

Next time I have morphine I will require a chaperone to gag me! I should not be left alone with these type of questions on morphine!!

I chat shit - no secret is safe when I'm on morphine. I very nearly showed a very embarrassing picture of someone to the doctor last time I had morphine (none of you lot) this time I just told the doctor how good my last meet was haha!

I don't recall meeting any Manchester doctors! Unless she was travelling down south and not wearing her stethoscope!!

Morphine makes me throw up.

And I can either talk or look at people - not both at the same time! So I had to keep my eyes shut to talk to my hospital visitors, in between throwing up obvs.

I was only on morphine once, made me just talk and talk and talk, not about anything in particular but I wouldn't shut up. The nurses said it was quite unusual for someone to jabber on immediately after a general anaesthetic had worn off - usually people are groggy and dead quiet.

I was on a 24 hour morphine drip when i had my bone marrow transplant for what seemed like a life time.

It was not nice. Had the local bus coming trough the walls of my room. Little men walking round the top of the skirting. It also made me horny but too ill to do anything. It was my birthday whilst it was happening. I told my mam and dad that night that every one had been in to see me. I had had a great time talking to about 15 friends.

No one was in obviously as i was in solitary confinement.

Got myself taken off of it in the end the little people really started to freak me out.
