Never. Words will still always say more.

Silence only hints at, but doesn't say facts.

Silence can be a sign of guilt but it's also what happens as you process words to say. I'm the type of person that does not just throw words out without considering the first. Sometimes in silence.

When someone says "I love you" and the response is deathly silence that's almost palpable

Mayfair

Comfortable silences that offer loud reassurances — usually during a date, romantic interludes or during pillow talk, when everything is right and the companionship is perfect. It's a perfect moment when words are superfluous but the ambiance speaks volumes.

a town called malice

When you have shot your load deep inside her, pulled out and she turns and puts her head on your chest and gives a satisfied sigh to silence

Often …. Words are so over rated

When dealing with grief or loss and you just want to be looked after and not spoken too

When watching a perfect sunset with your soulmate - don’t spoil it with words

In the words of Audre Lorde- your silence will not protect you.

To me, silence says a lot when it is chosen instead of support.

Sagittarius A

The moment when two people are trying to express their feelings and they realise that language itself has become a limitation.

I love that moment, when both realise none of it needed saying. It was all already there. We were just to 'smart' to see it.
