Don’t shoot me down on this but just a general observation.

Do some of use swinging because we do not want a relationship but want the sex?

I ask this as recently I’ve been reading in here a lot about things people don’t like about themselves or bad past personal experiences and therefore they are not wanting or ready for a relationship and so swinging fills a need?

Do you need to seek relationship or aim to untimely be in one to swing? Swinging is a lifestyle irrelevant of whether your in a relationship, seek a relationship or don't seek a relationship. When it comes to singles everyone can argue to the cows come how the difference between swinging and hooking up (I know I have my own personal opinion on the neaunces). I'm not so bothered by the technicalities, if your here you're participating/contributing to the lifestyle. Just live your life and find what works for you.
