I wish.

East London

I wish I'd written down important childhood memories.

I wish I'd kept all my childhood reading books.

I wish I still had my chalet by the sea, with all the childhood adventures that came with it.

I wish we didn't have to wish for things we can't have.

I wish your wishes came true.

I’d also really like some cheesecake.

"Oh Nanna. "

Having a nostalgic morning.

You know, when you think back to moments or days in your life and you can smell the books, and remember how the sunshine felt on your face.

I can feel the happiness I felt, sitting in my bedroom reading, or walking across the shelly beach with my dad, looking for crabs.

I wish my kids were 2 & 3 again , they were so cute at that age, no amount of money or sex or success comes close to those moments

The years where they start to interact with us more and throw tantrums because you won't let them climb off the balcony.

Reading

I wish I had recorded my dad's voice.

I wish I had more pictures of my kids when they were younger.

I wish I had realised that a lot of my ex husbands issues were due to anxiety and they could have been fixed with a pill. Whether it would have saved the marriage we will never know but he is so much easier to get on with now.

I have one video of my dad that's on a VHS tape.

I'm scared to let anyone have it to transfer to DVD or USB in case it gets damaged or lost.

I'd have to tone it down a bit after I hit my 40s

Random, but are nostalgic people (I assume many on this thread)also nostalgic about other people lives?

I'm very nostagalic, and love reading biographies. Love dipping into things like dessert island disc and that Big Issue book, Letters to My Younger Self.

Or does it not really correlate...
