Enjoying the last week of normality, probably shedding tears in the realisation of one growing up, and trying to complete as many things as possible before Friday!

And you???

Trying to get everything done that I need to.

Working out how the **** I'm going to fit in everything I need and want to fit in to August. There aren't enough days in the month so I'm going to have to start saying no to things.

Checking out spa recommendations.

And trying to avoid taking painkillers. :D

Starting out a flexi-time routine for work where I have a longer lunch to go gym. It means I don't have to go stupidly early and I don't have to go after work when it's absolutely rammed

Good plan.... I really should start going to the gym again... especially as there's now a free to use one at work

"Trying to keep the kids entertained while it rains all week "

I used to love those days.

I'd get an old sheet down on the carpet and get out all the art and craft stuff.

Then we'd play board games or make cakes.

The girls would go upstairs and dress up while my son played on the Sega system, when they got older.

I miss those rainy days with my children.

Today I'm mostly avoiding doing the 20 minute workout I did on Saturday....because my legs still hurt like fuck from Saturday.

I will do it. But I'm going to avoid it a bit longer.

No, that was much earlier in the year.

I have one leaving school and starting another in September. End of an era. Growing up so fast.

Fun but pointless fact!

That's how school was for me and my brother. As I was leaving, in the September was his first year.

Enjoying my long school holidays. Late-night DVDs and long lies.

Very quiet and empty compared with those Summer Hols of years ago when my son was growing up.

I find this time all a bit too quiet. Glad to be off seeing some family for a wee break in a couple of weeks time.
