300,000 cats dead

Worrying reports that over 300,000 cats have died from a mysterious disease called feline Corona virus in Cyprus which is an island on the Mediterranean where cats roam freely. Scientists are concerned that this could spread to the UK because of the strong colonial links with the island. Should UK cat owners be worried? It's all over the news

I don't know but I'll certainly be raising the question with my vets.

300,000 isa population roughly the size of Coventry which was once famous for building motorcycles.

For every resident in Coventry a cat has died in Cyprus. That puts it in perspective.

If the cat bacteria spreads here then how many pussies will die?

FFS Tom, you missed the obvious link between Coventry, cats and Jaguar cars… it’s all over the meows

No big deal.

Think of the wildlife that's going to save.

It's very sad and worrying. I last took a cat to the vets in Cyprus in January. Not reportedly from this. He recovered and I hope he's still alive.
