.....a friendship with a valentines card?

Or would you just send them to a lover or someone you admire sexually?

Have you ever sent a card to a family member?

Just curious....have given my son a card in the past, but now he's a teenager, he thinks its so wrong, so spare him the embarrassment!

I think sending cards to male or female friends is a very sweet and kind gesture, if i was sent one I would not read to much into it I would see it as the person has taken the time out to buy me a card and thought of me, i plan on sending a few cards

I'd never thought of it like that. I guess it's not wrong to celebrate Valentine's day by sending cards to friends... especially not if they're a fab friend, it's an excuse for a snog! Haha

I'm gonna go on a search now, to see if they do cards specifically for friends!

Valentine's is for romance so I don't think it's appropriate to send a card to a family member... although I have a couple of cousins I wouldn't say no to.

Don't send them

Don't want them

I am romantic and can be a romantic but, to me, I don't need a day set aside to express that.

I send my best friend a card every year, she's always been there for me when my life's gone tits up as I have for her, I love her to bits, in a none sexual way and every year I send her a card and a bottle of her fave wine

It's just a way of saying thank you for just being you

I wouldn't for anyone else incase they took it the wrong way

see this is what I like the day for, but I'm terrible for sending out cards and little gifts to people all year round
