Disagreements anyone?

I have had a couple living opposite me for years we gave never spoken.

I have a driveway and they dont. They always park opposite my drive (they have 2 cars) which makes it harder to get in and out.

Yes I know thats not illegal and they are doing nothing wrong but it's just annoying lol.

What's other people's annoying issues?

People putting my clothes in the tumble dryer.......when I specifically say DON'T I even leave a little note next to the washing machine!

It's a sick joke. I will find them.

I know a nice space big enough for a couple of cars opposite a big driveway if that helps?

My neighbours have just put up a massive flag pole in their tiny garden. Not quite sure why but in the wind the string bangs against the pole and makes an awful noise.

Might have to fence hope and cut the bloody thing down

"New neighbours have 3 barking dogs, they drive me nuts!"

You can report that to your local council anonymously.Had to report a neighbour for throwing out half a bakery every day for the birds, apart from a scene from Alfred Hitchcock it was bringing rats.Worked a treat.

I'm very lucky really.

No screaming kids or barking dogs in my road but both sides seem to love to cut the grass or bang a hammer at 8am on a Sunday.

But like I said.. if that's all I've got to whine about I'm lucky!

Easy fix - gift them a rectangular block of wood with a v- shape cut out of each end, that can be wedged sideways between the pole & rope. No more noise.

This was a fix that I know someone used on the flagpole at their church, so it didn’t annoy the neighbours!!

So far I have had a chat and then wrote them a letter but still the late nights and weekends are ruined by it, so it will become official v soon! Appreciate your advice x

Interesting. I have a neighbour who does the same, she’s actually really nice to talk to but every day at least 3 times a day we have the same.

All over

Sadly people these days don't care how their actions affect others and stop them from enjoying their own homes. From parking where they like to barking dogs, screaming unrully and unsupervised kids, constant loud parties and music, turning their gardens into pleasure parks and football pitches kicking and breaking neighbours's fences, arguing and swearing and not giving a damn who hears them and all sorts of stuff that leave you flabbergasted. Obviously not everyone is like that but many are unfortunatelly. I am sorry if any of you live next to people like that as can blights your life

A young couple next to us can’t seem to reverse their car, they always drive straight into the space behind me, right up to my car and never reverse into the space I leave them outside their own house! Always means I have to reverse to then pull out onto the road. Petty I know, but infuriating

Luckily I get on with my neighbours. We're all fairly considerate of each other, no noisy neighbours, late night parties and such. Boring lot!

Where I lived previously there was one guy who would play power ballads on repeat. Not what's needed on a hungover Saturday morning

I’m an amateur radio operator. One of my neighbours has a shitty old plasma tv, when he’s watching it it wiped out the HF bands.

I told him and offered to buy it off him for £1000 far more than it’s worth so he could replace it. He said no, I’ve had it years.

First world problems I onow but annoying the same.

My neighbour knocked on my door with a trimasu shed bought and tried to sell it to me as it had alcohol in it so her family couldn't eat it. She had the recipt with her as well. A few months later her post teen son knocked on the door as they had caught a mouse on the glue paper and didn't know what to do as he was home alone. I went into the flat, removed the glue trap and told him it's a baby rat. The family didn't knock to say thanks or anything. Almost a year later the mum knocked with the same mouse problem. Again it was a baby rat. I removed it and released the rat. We live on the second floor in a block of flats with no rodents isdues. Where the fuck did they come from. I think the family are witness protection for snitching or something ;-p

We're really lucky with our neighbours either side, get on with them well and there's never any noise issues.

I lived in flats before this house and I'd rather go live in a tent than go back to flats. The worst one was having a noise issue with the flat above that was going to mediation that ended up in me being assaulted.

The neighbours when I first moved in were Albanian drug dealers, so that was interesting.... But the police took them away lol

Mostly they're pretty good, one of my best friends started off as a neighbour.

I have mostly been fortunate with neighbours. Even the hero*on addicts that lived next door to me were lovely.

However, a few years ago I had a couple move next door that seemed to thrive on confrontation. I eventually stopped talking or reacting to anything they said or did. They moved out within a year ish after that. Probably hoping to find more reactive neighbours

The council evicted them and they became someone elses problem !! eventually ......
