Tin town

What bargains have you had?

Did you ever buy anything from a geezer in a sheepskin coat in a pub carpark?

I have some very decent stuff from charity shops that cost very little. I think the two best bargains were a sample leather jacket £5 and a full length sheepskin coat for £3:50.

I bought a Missoni wool wrap dress from Vinted. £15. It's the most beautiful item I've ever owned. And it fits.

There's a slight, minor stain on the top half but I'm going to get it dry cleaned.

Considering it's only been worn once and it normally retails for a heck of a lot more... yeah it's a bargain.

The best one was when there was a glitch around Christmas time at John Lewis. I bought a few hundred pounds worth of items for about £30. Including Jo Malone candles.

I really love a bargain.

Bought a hardtop gazebo... came with scuffs on the powder coating.... company refunded the entire amount and told us to keep the item!

Don't mind just doing touch ups now!

I once bought a TV stand that was marked up as being £99 but it came up as £120 at the till, words were said and the manager agree that I could have it at £99. A week later when I was looking at my bank statement it came up as 99p.
