Are you too accessible?

Between social media, texts, calls, emails, folk knocking the door. Work, friends, family all requiring your attention. Do you ever feel like you’re too accessible?

How do you solve it if you are?

Maybe you’d like to be more accessible…..

I quite often disable or even delete social media. Often also stop notifications on my phone. People know this about me and know not to freak out if I haven't responded in weeks or months. If i'm away everything is switched off automatically and I try to enjoy the moment. It's so freeing but not for everyone

I literally have zero social media, not chatsnap, instagimp, nothing. I don't really like people, I'm pretty happy in my own company

How weird!!!

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I sometimes get overwhelmed with noise, and speaking can be too much. So I have quiet time, where I might interact with text communication but I can't have an actual conversation. I know that sometimes that can hurt my people, and I feel badly for it. But I need it.

I rarely don't communicate by text, but sometimes, if I need to detach, I will.

I solve it by ignoring people and deleting apps from my phone or turning notifications off
