well i get flowers every week just got just got red and yellow roses on the table now, so we dont really celebrate. I just get jay a box of his favourite violet creams.

It is acceptable to get guys flowers and if your getting them via a florist i think they do bouquets designed for men. We dont really celebrate

I used to buy my ex flowers regularly. He didn;t want me to send them to work just hand deliver....

Best thing he ever did was to buy a cooker and get it in stalled on valentines day so he could cook for me....THAT got brownie points...

In my own little world

My ex (nearly 20 years ago - crikey!), anyway, he earnt at least £40k, and used to buy me a packet of seeds of 59p for Valentines. First year I treated it as a joke but by the 4th I got the hump as I realise what a tight bastard he was.

Christmas presents were even better!

My ex got me a cool tropical themed bouquet of flowers one year, for Valentine's. I was chuffed.

Bit different.

Personally id just cook a nice dinner and spend the night curled up. I wouldnt go out for a meal on valentines day very over priced and full of people who dont go out any other time of the year. Its nice to have one special day but it should be the same all year round.

I did take jay out for lunch today as its his birthday tomorrow only cause he has to wait for his present

In all honesty though, unless you know a mans like and interests, it seems a lot harder to buy for a man than a woman.
