However, just think of how many people on the course you will be rolling over into the recovery position. LOL

You say that as if it's a bad thing. If you save someone's life, it will be a life they do get back.

Can't think of a better reason to do it.

Personally I think everyone should do First Aid Training.

I'm sure you have wasted many more days on extremely pointless and mundane activities of your own choice and doing

Three days!

That’s not a first aid course, it’s halfway qualified as a junior doctor.

My thought too, but then 3 months later, used skills on aircraft and saved her life and a 5 months after that saved another life on the street while out shopping

So stop complaining its worth it

It was a course that I taught for many years.

Courses can be made bearable / enjoyable if you have a charismatic person teaching.

Students found it was more interesting when the defibrillator was added to the syllabus.

My annual asbestos awareness refresher and manual handling are courses that a much higher degree of awfulness about them!

Normally, no matter how many times you've done a course, you learn at least one new piece of information.

I Googled this and apparently, you don't get any of them back, so I'm off bungee jumping today, hope there's a first aider on site!

I train it haha!

Saving a life is so important! I really do believe it should be part of the school curriculum to train basic first aid.
