"Have you ever forgotten a partners birthday or anniversary and tried to “blag” it. I forgot my wedding anniversary until on the way home from work once. I went to the local shop and all they had was awful anniversary cards. Now thinking hard I brought a “thank you” card and wrote “thank you for putting up with me for another year” Apparently that’s not the best thing to do. One of the many reasons we ended up divorced!!" Big thanks for the reminder to call my brother for his bday today. Completely unrelated but thanks

When I was giving my Father of The Bride speech at my daughter's wedding, I gave a bit of advice to my new son-in-law: "Forget your anniversary once, and you'll never forget it again!"

My ex father-in-law forgot his first anniversary and you're 100% correct, he never forgot it again!
