Rejection is not characterbuilding

It will not make a man of you.

It will not bring you to your knees.

It will teach you that you cannot have everything in life.

It will leave you standing.

It will sometimes be the best thing for you.

It sucks yes so just roll with it stop bitching and have some fun.

Well said, thought he second line is a little confusing. I little rejection can be humbling and thus, I think it can make a man, only if he accepts the rejection without throwing a tantrum and pushing the matter

It will teach you that you cannot have everything in your life - probably I agree with that most. If one never puts themselves out there cause they are panicking they will fail or be rejected- what kind of life is that ? Just going for the sure outcome isn't a success of a great measure.

It's a lovely sentiment but... people are human. Sometimes they'll lash out, go full psychotic. Sometimes they'll take it gracefully. People can have various problems in their life which can impact how they handle it - I'm not going to rake them over the coals for behaviour.

I think it's something that's learnt over time. And I hope people get better with it generally.

You can throw your toys out of the pram when a baby, have a tantrum when a toddler even behave badly in late teens after that their is no excuse for not accepting that you are not what someone wants.

And any grown adult who isn't an entitled prat will not need preaching about to how to handle rejection and those that can't handle it will carry on reacting the way they do anyhow.

No i don't think it is just men but being male i feel more comfortable directing this at me.

Perhaps you are right yet i do feel a little education on this is needed.
