Generally a bit rubbish. Self doubt, lack of confidence and self esteem, insecurity, and imposter syndrome are all constant companions.

I try really hard to fake it until I make it though.

I used to be really confident before uni.

I’m getting back to that level of confidence. I am starting to accept praise and to believe in myself and my knowledge and abilities. Starting to like what I see in the mirror. It’s a journey and I had a wobble just this weekend but generally I believe I’m nice. Therapy has been life changing.

You've got the best username on Fab, you're in your own league

Filtered pictures don't make people out of your league, some are ninjas with the old camera. You may think Champions League when you see their profile.....but when/if you meet them it's more the Vanarama League.

Hmmm, it varies. When it comes to life stuff it's pretty high, I know I'm good at what I do.

Looks-wise and sexually it's not that good. It baffles me that people find me attractive and sexy. Kind, friendly, generous, even funny - I can recognise those. But actual, in person, in real life sexy?! This is not meant as a fishing trip, just a genuine answer to Meli's question.

Does it sound cocky to say better than average? But that's not a constant, the little voice of self doubt is there ready to pop out. But I get by.

And I wasn't always this way, this is a benefit of ageing I think. At a point you say to yourself, this is what you got and that's ok. Having confidence to try and then the confidence to try again when you fail matters a lot.

I do think the company you keep makes a difference.

Saying I'm self accepting doesn't sound as arrogant saying I'm highly confident.

It runs on a scale from 0-10. Sometimes I'm full of self belief and confidence in all areas and feel I could take on the world.

Other days I'm full of self doubt and question everything I do or say.

Other days it's a happy medium or somewhere on the scale between those two extremes.

I have Full faith and confidence in myself, its taken alot of hard inner reflection and work on myself, to challenge previously held believe systems. That generated certain thinking patterns. Which told me im.not capable, not worthy and will.amount to nothing.

Today I have a new evidentially belief systems that counter act any previous antiquated belief systems about self. I know that I'll succeed and take the necessary steps to succeed in life.

I can act confident at times but it depends on the situation and my ability. I don't think I'm confident at all but others do.

We can discuss something with great confidence because of our knowledge of said subject does that necessarily mean we are a confident person?

Now I've said it too many times and babbled!

Faking it until you make it isn't a bad strategy. I always like to think that one day you'll start to believe it a bit more, have more faith in yourself even if you're having a wobble.

My confidence has bipolar disorder. It jumps up and down all the time.

In some things it's a constant high, because I know in those situations I can be sure of myself and what I am, am doing, or saying.

In others, largely where other people are involved. It drops.

The rest is as I say constant roller coaster.

The face value dating world for example. It's low. I lack confidence for my face. My body, I'm good with. My personality, nobody is knocking my confidence on that, good luck to them if they try. But confidence in my face is below simply accepting it and getting over it.

I am confident in my ability to accept myself as I am. Which is practically perfect in every way. I'm a regular Marry Poppins.

Honestly, without context it's hard to say.

A lot of things are so complex I think we tend to over-emphasise the significance of our self-confidence.

I can turn my hands to most things. I'll give it a go like. Brain surgery is probably a bit of a stretch.
