Well I've done it - only a few more hours to go ! Not that I'm a heavy drinker just the glass or three of wine at the weekend but I've certainly noticed the difference especially when my jeans keep falling down !

Thinking of doing the same for lent well my only other vice is sex and I'm not giving that up.

Anyone else managed to stay sober during January ?

Yes i did although ive had a brandy in my coffee some nights to try and sleep

Only started drinking wine a few months ago and have had a bit of a taste for it, but had an upset over crimbo and new year and went off it. I did have one glass of vino on around the 4th Jan and a glass and a half 2 nights ago, so I think that even though I wasn't consciously planning a dry January, I seem to have done pretty well. I wonder how February will go? March won't be dry though coz it's my Birthday month, so I'm going to try to be good through Feb and save myself for March ... lol

Yes, i understood. I just find it ironic as it's usually too much alcohol that causes it, lol.
