I watched this 1968 Hammer horror last night and it's the perfect metaphor for a trip to a swingers club!

First, the main character has to drive to the middle of bumfuck nowhere relying of the directions of knowing locals.

Then there was a venue with sexually suggestive games, a dungeon with young maidens being whipped and leather straps everywhere, lots of boobs, a ham fisted attempt to follow a woman to her private room, lots of overt symbolism, crude double entendres and everyone watching each other through holes in the walls.

And most of all the pervading feeling that something big is going on but you are not part of it.

Apart from the roughly equal numbers of men and women it was just like being there!

I initially thought the title was a euphemism for getting your period

"Lust for the vampire was awesome "

I saw that movie at a very impressionable age.

No wonder I have a thing for heaving bosoms.

Showing your age with the description heaving bosoms

Barbara Cartland would approve.
