Some years ago I was on a river cruise in Provence and we got a thunderstorm around midnight that was really spectacular. Forked lightning and hail so heavy we couldn't stay on deck. The Captain had to stop the boat and hold water as there was nil visibility and it wiped the GPS out. It was brilliant, even though I stayed out in it until it hurt and the crew thought I was mad!..

Tonypandy.

Thunderstorm: Side, Turkey October 2005. Came with massive downpour and the most amazing lighting. I stood on the beach with a beer, flatly refusing to return to the bar where everyone else was sheltered.

Seagull. Fred. He is the pet seagull at work. Can't fly, so lives in big box on 11th floor roof terrace and gets fed posh food. Tame as hell.

Fuck. The one I had last night was pretty incredible, as was the threesome on Monday.
