Don't really care for hashed browns, bubble and squeak is more traditional and nicer IMO.

.

Buy them. Not cook them. If they're an anaemic floppy mess I don't want them. Piping hot, golden brown and crispy. With ketchup. Perfect. I'm trying to not eat them more than once a month atm.

Bubble and squeak is amazing but I do love hash browns also.

I either buy them or make them, aldi do a box of 10 and very similar to the McDonalds ones.

Mine are amazing obviously I just cannot be bothered sometimes though.

I'm indifferent. If they're there on my plate, I'll eat one to be a good boy, but I don't usually order them.

Love. Have to be as crispy as possible or I won't eat them, local cafe is on my avoid list for soggy soft hash browns.

They're one of those thing I'll binge on when they rotated into the menu.

Parboil is the the secret for crispy ones. Grate, onion & garlic powder, salt and pepper. If you're going for the full frying pan size, use a plate to flip. Speaking of flipping, let the underside crisp before turning.

Best enjoyed with a fried egg and siracha

Cheeseville, Somerset

Aldi do lush cheesy hash browns.

Not everything cheesy is bad.
