I'm not going to be online for a while. Nothing's wrong, I'm just taking a break. I realise announcing it like this may be a bit melodramatic, but it's the easiest way to let everyone who cares know that I'm fine, just taking a leave of absence from Fab.

Now this may upset the apple cart a little bit, but ti's what it is. And I'll voice my opinion. I do find the hypocrisy monumental.

If it was someone else posting about leaving or having a break, the vultures would circle and have a field day with this. So I guess it does all come down to the user. And how the're viewed on the forums.

Why can't the same courtesy be shown to others as to the OP?

Would they? I genuinely don't see - and admittedly miss a lot of threads - vultures circling when people say they're leaving. A guy left just this week and the thread was pretty neutral. But your point about 'not all users being created equal' is a fair one.

I've seen first hand thr shitty comments when other ppl have posted the same kinda thread....I'll leave it there. I felt like It needed saying so I said "

Majority of the time these kinds of comments are from a random disgruntled member, rarely (but not always) is it a regular. A chip on their shoulder about how it's not an airport blah blah blah.

I've seen an extremely disliked controversial poster in the past get the goodbye they deservingly nurtured over their time here. Given with the same compassion they showed others.

Most comments are always supportive and friendly. Generally it's more a case people just don't say anything.
