Friday Fry Day .. what are you having on your breakfast fry up?

Me? I’ll have some bacon, sausages, a fried egg (top definitely cooked though, none of this uncooked see-through raw egg white please , beans, mushrooms, maybe a hash brown or two.

You can hold off the tomato, especially if it’s those tinned plum tomatoes, and black (or white) pudding … nah, no way.

What are you having on yours?

Are you adding anything from your local variations?

Sounds good. No local variations on food but I’m putting each thing on its separate own small plate and we’re just all going to dig in. Maybe wash it down with a double apple shisha and mint tea

Fried breakfast for me is on the odd Sunday morning or on holiday or hotel stays. Though a bacon sandwich is a little more frequent. Back to the question though OP my full breakfast would start with fresh orange juice, a ball of fruit and or cereal with greek yogurt drizzled with honey, and nuts, followed with the main event of bacon, good girthy sausages, 2 eggs I can dip my toast in, mushrooms and toms both grilled, brown toast, extra toast with orange marmalade, a croisant and a slice of apple or almond cake. Plenty of good strong coffee to go with it throughout. I am definately having one on Sunday now

Here is a left field contribution - Fruit pudding, which I have only had in SW Scotland.

Fruit pudding is a mixture of wheat / oatmeal flour, beef suet, brown sugar, currants, raisins, sultanas, salt and cinnamon, formed into the shape of a large sausage.

Sliced and fried like a black pudding.
