So physical appearance. How important is it to you? Whether that's yours, someone else's in terms of attraction...

Do you have a physical type? What catches your eye physically?

And now I've typed that word far too many times.

There has to be a physical attraction initially (with a stranger) I do believe over time you can become attracted to someone's personality over their looks.

But there has to be a physical attraction initially.

I'm an arse man myself. If there's a peachy bootay about, I'm probably going to show some interest.

Personally, I'd change most things if I could and I'm never happy with how I look. Too tall ,too chubby, too small boobed, too everything really. I shouldn't care at my age but I do. Other the last few years it's how I've been made to feel, it's hard to change that shit.

I feel like I've over shared.

I like really, really skinny men. Even better of they have defined muscles. I love seeing ribs, the clavicle and hip.bones poking out not to mention Veiny arms.

Me, however, I'm far from skinny. Bit of a porker but the heart wants what it wants.

Yes it's important to everyone! Gotta be hot.

Just have a nice waistline and a 10/10 personality and a pretty face whatever that may be and I'll like you. Usually people fail on the personality side.

I genuinely do not know what attracts me physically. I definitely don't have any kind of type, if you lined up every woman that caught my eye there would be all kinds of different physical attributes across the line. I'd say it's more likely to be someone's energy/vibe they give out that attracts me to someone.

Bootay! Not heard/read that word in far too long. Yeah; I read a lot on here about personality, how important it is. It is for me. I was curious about physical traits people like. How much value they place on them etc.

I don't think you're shallow for liking a particular aesthetic - you know what you like. What's wrong with that?

It varies I guess? Looking at my past history, I dont seem to have a type.

There is usually some specific thing I like about someone, they might have a really nice forearm and nice hands, a cute butt to pinch...

In general, in an actual meeting setting its the way I feel around them that makes me interested the most.

I don't have a type the person and physical as a whole is what attracts me I can't have one without the other.

As for me I like to think I kind of take care of myself, I mean I'll dress nice and do my hair, make up etc but do I think I look good, that's another matter, I've definitely let myself go since having the little ones I won't lie, there's a lot I don't like but I got bigger boobies so silver lining and all that.

Oh you

I could have written that. Except swap chubby for fat and it's been my entire life I've been made to feel like crap about me. And it's only an overshare if you feel it is.

The physical type I go for isn't set in stone, but is actually much the same as Lilith described as well. Although I also go for slim and skinny men.

And a person's face and personality can make them more attractive than even the most perfect specimen of my physical type. So it isn't actually that important really.

In men I dont really have a type (he'll argue with me on that and we strongly disagree) the only denominating factor on the people I've met on here is beards or facial gruff, mostly it's personality.

Women again no real type is all I'll say...short, tall, slim, curvy... I love the female body in all its forms

My physical appearance is important to me, in particular my face. I dislike it when I don't look like me (have times where I don't see me in the mirror). So when I do it I really particular about it.

The physical appearance of others is important to me, the other half is taller than me and I can snuggle into his chest, I also have a thing about furrows between eyebrows and hands no idea why but they are important.

After some careful thinking (a few on here know I need to think carefully before I type... tends to get abit silly)

Anyways where was I?

I've deduced, that my typical thought process of attraction is something like this.

*ooohhh she's got a nice "boootay"

"Hi, I'm TandA can I buy you a drink!"

(Assuming they accept and Now I'm up close this could go one of two ways, they'll either get my attraction more or less depending on how they articulate themsleves)

Ultimately it was the arse I was initially attracted to. But in time it could be the person... who knows. That's the beauty of attraction. What's great for me isn't great for Dave.
