Gym trainer?

Hi

I'm tv/ts and always looking to slim/tone as much as fml as possible so looking to see if there are any gym trainers/gym nuts on here who know what they are doing and can help me with a 'plan'......maybe assist with what lunches can take to work on a backshift as well to help?

Of course more details can be given if they message me.

Did you receive any help?

I receive messages from some people trying to give me advice. They however don't even ask my goals, ask about my lifestyle and what fits in, ask about my health/fitness, so their advice they are trying to give isn't very meaningful.

I hope you receive some advice that helps you.

I used to be but I really don't know enough about your eating, sleeping, training/medical history to give advice over the Internet and please be a bit wary of anyone who does.

My advice is to look at the physiques of male athletes closest to which you wish achieve. If you look at 100m and marathon runners you'll notice a big difference. Part of that is the sport selecting the athlete. But part of it is the nature of their training. I'm guessing a marathon runner is closer to what you want to achieve so have a look at their training regime and adapt it to your time available and equipment available. Lots of long cardio and high reps with light weights.

For you, high reps with low weights, ideally full body compound movements. And your long boring cardio of choice. Nothing sprinty.

You have hit the nail on the head, many people start out with goals that are unrealistic, hard to fit in for daily life. So yes, you can achieve what you set out you just have to understand some of the lifestyle changes needed.

It's certainly not for everyone, me included. PTs are very expensive so any help well informed people can give you is a bonus, speak to members of staff at your gym they should be happy to give advise and help.
