I turn 40 in 3 days. Not depressed at all. Lol. In fact, it's probably a good thing. I'll be able to message some women on here. That I couldn't previously. Because I was too young. lol. Anyone else's life change for the better, at this milestone?

Age is just a number,it didn't feel any different to when I was 39.

Oh yes. I am 61 and have had two women jump down my throat at a supposed 'drink & chat'. Rio was not amused when I told her after the event. Wouldn't have dared tell her at the time as she would have punched their lights out!! We are a couple and nothing is done behind either of our backs.

Is this in the right thread?

I don't follow.

I think the original question was that has anyone's life changed for the better at 40 and I was just trying to say that the answer is 'yes'. I believe I was answering the question. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

"Notice that you have hidden your profile ... why?"

Because its her profile and she can do with it what she wants, doesn't need to explain her actions I would have thought

Thank you for deciding that you are in a position to speak on her behalf rather than letting her speak for herself. I am sure she will appreciate that.

Halifax

Ask me in 6 days as I turn forty then, but prior to turning forty I've made at least one positive life style change I've challenged myself to run a half marathon in my 40th year (i.e. 2013). Before this the only exercise I did was walking to the train station in a morning and as a side effect I've lost over a stone in weight.

PS Happy Birthday

I was out for the day, and don't mind her answer on my behalf.

My profile is hidden because I am not meeting due to ill health, however I still actively enjoy the forums, chatrooms and keeping in touch with fab friends.

What has my hidden profile got to do with this thread though?

........and I'm still confused by your response above how your life was bettered at 40, by telling us about you being 61, two women jumping down your throat and Rio wishing to punch their lights out?
