Hi all,

Been registered on the site a few months now but only just been using it properly for a couple of weeks and I've already got chatting to some nice ladies and couples about organising meets so I'm very much enjoying my time so far.

I want to now start going to socials in my area to get to know some more people and was just wondering how I get to find out? I can't seem to find a specific forum that lists them.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Just to let you guys know I am in Surrey so if anyone knows of any happening in that area - give me a shout.

there is a socal on the 6th dont know where it is (what area) but its not in surry so u would have to travel and get hotel maybe, why dont u go and meet people that way.

Thanks for that ladies. I've just found the events section and I will keep my eyes peeled for any happening in my area.

As for the social on the 6th. I would have loved to have gone as it sounds like it'll be loads of fun but can't make that weekend - I hate to brag but I have a meet with a hot couple! lol

Well in reverse order:

Whats happening in Surrey: bugger all sorry, for a larger social you will need to travel.

pointers? thats easy but still daunting first time. Put you name down early, keep tabs and post as necessary and turn up on time, be polite and have no expectations. The first time loads of people will already know each other and you will need patience to slowly fit in. (its like any normal social event there).

There is no specific forum for socials, they get lumped in with all the rest so you need to pick them out, but if you watch the forums you will see them come up again and again as the bigger ones are (obviously) popular.

The only party/social I know in the south thats fixed at the moment, is the one I'm holding at Eurekas on the 12th Feb, others have been discussed but as yet no venues or dates published (to my knowledge).

Hi thanks for the post. I have been to socials plenty of times before but was asking for pointers on how to find them on this site. But still - thanks for the advice.

I'll check out the Eurekas party/social to see if I can make it. Never been to Eurekas so it could work out well - heard lots of good things about there.
