Why don’t more men get lip fillers.

Are plump lips more desirable in women than men?

Discuss

For the record I’m genuinely wondering about the difference in what people find attractive about one sex and not the other as opposed to a debate about lip fillers.

I went to get lip fillers at a decent clinic - got told I really don’t need them, already had the most sought after lip line naturally. Which was nice they could’ve just taken my money. Do see sone gay men with fillers, not yet seen a straight guy with them though so maybe it’s perceived that way.

i find them ridiculous imo nothing natural to it and not very attractive.

i do wish i would have bigger lips for lippy butnot to the extent of filler

most men have small lips anyway i have to cheat with make up.

Bigger lips doesn't mean you give better blow jobs lol

It’s interesting I understand that any look has people that like it and people that don’t, there is obviously a societal thing suggesting that plump lips especially on are a woman is an attractive feature.

Let’s face it ladies have been using lipstick and make up for probably over a hundred years to have that look, but it’s obviously not seen as sexy in men.

Having said that, Thierry Henry, va va voom.

Is it as simple as saying that men and women are wired to find different things attractive

And then there's the perception that cosmetic procedures are/were 'too girly' for men.

It depends on how much filler people have put in, I have known people have just 0.5ml to boost some of the fullness they have lost with age. If they hadn't told me I wouldn't have known it was so subtle.

Like make up

Red swollen lips, flushed (rouged) cheeks, widened eyes.

All signs of sexual readiness in a woman so guys are genetically attracted to it.

We’re all just clever monkeys.

I have my lips filled - my natural lips are full but when I smile the top lip disappears into nothing so I fill the top to stop it from flipping under

I’m told it looks natural and happy to share pics if anyone is considering filler and worried about it looking unnatural

I have some straight male friends who get filler on lips Simply as they have a very thin upper lip and it bothers them You wouldn’t know they have filler as it’s subtle. Much like my lip filler j get it’s about being subtle with it for me.

Each to their own and I have friends with the full porno Jessica rabbit lips and they look great as it suites their vibe. Plus it’s not permanent anyway

To add on to this

I mean in terms of doing it for just attracting men.

Doing it because you want to is the only factor that should be taken in to account. I still don't think the visual results(good or bad) justify the price but that's my preference. I will admit that the less extreme versions can make subtle differences, but 99% of the time unless it's a full on allergic reaction look, most men won't notice much.

The self confidence from it is attractive though.

You know the lip fillers will always take up the chunk of the discussion. The title and things around it always dominate the discussion more than the subject as a whole.

Fashion init!

I'm not attracted to claws and talons (slightly longer nails I do find appealing), yet they seem to be a thing too.

There was a video clip I saw of a woman stating women do it for themselves, not for me. Which I agree with.

Some men have adjusted to this, or grown up with it as the norm so they just go with it because for the most part it's a thing you have to accept that most any future partner will have these things.

Botox is derived from botulinum which is one of the deadliest bacteria on the planet there is no way you’d get me putting it into my body voluntarily.

Also I’m not a fan of the look I had lips like that 30 years ago when someone hit me with a bottle.

Also there is this

During a lip flip procedure, your healthcare provider injects Botox into parts of your upper lip.

Not the same as a filler but it is Botox in the lip.

More men should get fillers tbh there is a way to get them done so that they look natural, and not all of them look "puffy"

A man with a nice set of full lips is so much more attractive than one with a line for a mouth

I've had my lips done and they look natural, unless you saw a before pic you wouldn't know

My lip line was perfect but I wanted a bit more of a fuller look so had some injected into the body of my lips but not the lip line

I guess one of positives of being black is we all have full lips so no one bays an eyelid

Honestly this forum has some of weirdest attitudes. The anger and hate at total strangers wanting to change their appearance, or have a swimming pool, or various other things. Is this where all the least inclusive people end up ?

I think plump lips look sexy and if you don’t have them naturally and it bothers you, it’s great you can get them enhanced easily.
