..... Courgette cake and it was bloody lovely. Its made me worry that I've been missing out on tasty things to eat all these years.

So my question is What have you swallowed that you thought would be disgusting but was actually really nice?

I think the last thing was a pastel de nata. I must have had a bad experience with a custard tart when I was younger because I was convinced I wouldn't like them.

Now I could eat them for a living. If anyone has an opening in that line of work, get in touch and I will send you my CV.

No. The last thing I had that was surprisingly not horrific? A vegan cheese toastie. It wasn't so great I'd order one again, it wasn't so awful I ran to the toilet.
